Getting started
Put Coachero on your home screen
Coachero runs in your web browser, but you don't have to open a browser every time. In two taps you can add it to your home screen, where it gets its own icon and opens full-screen, exactly like an app from a store.
What "add to home screen" actually does
Your browser saves Coachero as an app on your device. Nothing extra to download, no store account needed. It's the same Coachero, just launched from your home screen instead of a browser tab.
- Its own icon on your home screen
- Opens full-screen, no browser bar
- Works offline for what you've loaded
- Stays signed in between visits
Install it in a few taps
iPhone & iPad
Safari
- Open app.coachero.co in Safari.
- Tap the Share button ↑ in the bar (the square with an up arrow).
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add. The icon lands on your home screen.
On iPhone this must be done in Safari. Chrome and other iOS browsers can't add to the home screen.
Android
Chrome
- Open app.coachero.co in Chrome.
- Tap the menu ⋮ (three dots, top right).
- Tap Install app or Add to Home screen.
- Tap Install to confirm.
Prefer the Play Store? Coachero is there too: get it on Google Play.
Computer
Chrome & Edge
- Open app.coachero.co in Chrome or Edge.
- Click the install icon at the right of the address bar (a monitor with a down arrow).
- Or open the menu ⋮ and choose Install Coachero.
- Click Install. It opens in its own window with a desktop icon.
Don't see the install icon? Reload the page once; it appears after Coachero finishes loading.
Just want to try it first?
You don't have to install anything to use Coachero: open it in any browser and start logging.
Common questions
Is this a real app, or just a bookmark?
A real app. Adding Coachero to your home screen installs it as a Progressive Web App: it opens full-screen in its own window, works offline for loaded content, and behaves like any installed app. It just skips the app store.
Do I need to install it to use Coachero?
No. Installing is optional; it only makes Coachero faster to open and nicer to use. Everything works the same in a normal browser tab.
Will it take up much space or use lots of battery?
No. A web app is a fraction of the size of a typical store app and only runs while you're using it, so it's light on both storage and battery.
How do I remove it?
The same way you remove any app: press and hold the icon and choose Remove or Uninstall. Your account and data are unaffected; you can reinstall or just use the browser any time.
